Companion™

Companion™ was first launched on the Isle of Man in June 1997. Developed to satisfy the need for a comprehensive easy-to-use company formation system at a realistic price, DPN use some of the latest software technology available to produce a package of the very highest quality.

Entirely Windows™ based and well featured, Companion™ is the first in a series of "Corporate" products being developed by DPN Software to meet the exacting requirements of professionals in the fast-moving finance sector. Its scaleability ensures that a practically unlimited number of companies can be supported, along with their officers and shareholders, and the sharing of common data results in outstanding performance. Companion™ can alleviate skill shortages as it makes light work of coping with the regulations and formalities associated with a wide range of jurisdictions.

Companion™ goes out of its way to make tasks simple. Everything is based around the company, and once inside a company everything is to hand, no more than a couple of mouse clicks away. Minutes, events, forms, registers, etc.; all are quick and easy to find. Everything that can be automated, is! Picture-perfect reproductions of Government forms, automatically completed by the system, are used to ensure that the output complies with the existing legislation and receive approval from the regulating authorities.

Every step of the way, Companion™ is there to help you! For example:

Resign a director (supply a resignation date and click OK) and the appropriate forms are automatically generated (9N, 288b, B10, etc) with no further work.
Transfer some shares (who from, who to, how many, click OK) and the system will:-

PRODUCE a stock transfer form
UPDATE the members register
UPDATE the register of transfers
CANCEL the originators certificate
CREATE the new certificate(s)
MAKE new entries in the register of seals
UPDATE the on-screen history
UPDATE the next annual return

It even reminds you of any forthcoming annual returns due, each time you log into the system, so you cannot "forget" one.

Multi-Jurisdiction

All countries around the world have their own rules and regulations governing the formation and registration of companies, and as such have many pre-printed forms to be filled in to comply with their legislation.

Companion™ generates extremely accurate representations of these forms, and the system is constantly being updated with new form designs and support for new jurisdictions.

ODBC Compliant

Companion™ uses an ODBC relational database. This means that most commercial database engines can be employed and enables reporting through established ODBC tools such as Crystal Reports™.

For extra performance, Companion™ is compatible with Microsoft SQL Server™ version 6.5 and higher.
